Whether you have a small or large district or you have full-time, part-time, or no nurses, it is important to equip your clinic with the right protocols/procedures and documentation of injuries, administration of medication, screenings, or those unusual issues that come up that you have never dealt with before. For example, one of our districts had an outbreak of bed bugs on their campus and gave us a call and said,

“Can you write us a protocol and letter to send home for bed bugs? We’ve never had this before.”

And of course, our answer was,

“Sure, we will have it to you today.”
